A data-driven marketer with a passion for the big picture, Steve has helped over 75 HubSpot customers transform their marketing. An active public speaker, Steve has presented at universities and conferences around Boston and DC, including B2B Camp at Microsoft NERD, Bentley University's Center for Marketing Technology, the Construction Marketing Association, and American University's Kogod School of Business.
Haase is a graduate of the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music (BM) and the University of Maryland, College Park (MM). Before joining the IMC team at HubSpot, he was a cofounder of the digital marketing agency, ThoughtLead, which specialized in content marketing, creating campaigns for clients such as IBM, Dow Chemical, Haier, and HubSpot.
Prior to ThoughtLead, Steve was a trumpet instrumentalist with the US Navy Band in Washington, DC where he performed at concerts and ceremonies throughout the DC area and around the country, including the inauguration of President Bush and the funeral of President Reagan.
