HubSpot didn’t waste any time making an imprint on the Inc 500 list of the fastest growing private companies in the US. In its first year eligible for the list, the inbound marketing software company is the second fastest growing software company in the country, and the 33rd fastest growing company overall.

HubSpot, which celebrated its fifth anniversary last month, has grown revenues more than 6,000% since 2007 with over 5,000 customers using HubSpot as their marketing software system.

In the past two months, HubSpot has acquired companies Performable and oneforty, bringing the team to nearly 300 people. These acquisitions have added innovative marketing automation and social media marketing functionality and grown the App Marketplace for HubSpot customers.

“To be recognized as the second fastest growing software company is quite an honor,” said Brian Halligan, the company’s co-founder and CEO. “Potential customers are researching and shopping for products in a new way, and we have been working hard since 2006 to build the tools to help companies transform their marketing and get better results through inbound marketing.  The Inc 500 list recognizes our progress so far, but we’re not done.”

Co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah added, “The recognition of HubSpot’s hyper-growth is nice, but what made that possible is the results our customers get from the marketing they do using our software.  The average HubSpot customer grows their lead generation by 32% monthly, and over 80% of customers report increased web traffic and lead generation when using HubSpot software. 85% of HubSpot customers recommend the software to their friends.”  [source: www.hubspot.com/ROI]infographic leads
