We know how important Salesforce is to your business - it is a critical tool for our sales and marketing teams, too. That’s why we are making heavy investments in improving our integration with Salesforce.com.
Over the past several months, we've made a number of improvements to our Salesforce connector that make managing your data faster, more reliable, and easier than ever. These improvements are all available now to customers who have access to HubSpot 3. (If you don't yet have access to HubSpot 3, you can learn more in the Customer Migration Center.)
New Features Available Now
Say goodbye to constant fiddling with CSV files. Now, HubSpot can automatically pull in new leads and contacts that originate in Salesforce. It's fast, reliable, and easy to do.
This feature is now available for all customers using HubSpot 3 and the latest version of our Salesforce V2 connector. Learn how to turn on bi-directional syncing here.
Improved Settings, Activites & More
An improved settings interface for the Salesforce integration inside of HubSpot makes it easier than ever to map fields, update your connector, even sync activity records to Salesforce to keep your team in the loop on marketing activities.
This feature is now live for all customers using HubSpot 3 and the latest version of our Salesforce V2 connector. You can find the settings in Contacts > Manage Settings > Salesforce Connector. You can learn more about activity record syncing here.
We know that keeping the leads flowing is mission critical for your business. That's why we've made huge investments in the back-end of our system to give you a faster, more reliable experience.
This improvement is now live for all customers using the latest version of our Salesforce V2 connector. You don't need to do anything to turn it on - it's already working for you in the background.
New Ways to Work With Your Sales Team
Now, it's possible to leverage your Salesforce data in exciting new ways in HubSpot. Want to send highly customized alerts to lead owners when their leads hit a certain lead grade, or if a lead fills out a specific form? It's easy to do.
This feature is a part of Workflows, and is now live for all customers using HubSpot 3 and our Salesforce connector. You can learn more about Workflows Notifications here, or find more detailed instructions on HubSpot Help.
When it comes to pulling batches of records into HubSpot from Salesforce, we have you covered there, too. It's easy to do - select the leads and contacts you want to import, and in one click you are good to go.

Great changes, but the one thing I really need to be able to do is sync data from a formula field OR custom fields from the Account.

Is SalesForce Connector free to HubSpot Professional customers?
Jeffrey Russo 7:40 PM on November 01, 2012
@Carrie - Thanks for your feedback on the Salesforce integration. Rest assured that we aren't stopping with the improvements that you see here. Our Salesforce team has literally doubled in size over the past couple of months, and the first thing they set out to improve was reliability and syncing, which is what all of these changes aimed to help with. We have a long list of things we are working on, and we appreciate you hanging in there with us.
@Kristin - It absolutely is. We have a native Salesforce integration, developed and maintained here at HubSpot, that is included for all Professional and Enterprise customers at no additional cost.

One more question -- is the free HubSpot integration available to Sales Force Small Business Professional customers?
Jeffrey Russo 3:42 PM on November 02, 2012
Hi Kristin,
We can integrate with any version of Salesforce that has access to the Salesforce API. (We don't limit it on our end, it's purely dependent on whether or not your version of Salesforce is able to be integrated.) I'm not familiar with Small Business Professional, so it might be worth checking in with someone on the Salesforce side with regard to whether or not you have API access at that level. I know definitively that we can integrate with Salesforce Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited.
