Inbound Marketing Book SigningWhat are you doing tomorrow night?

If you don't already have plans, head over to Tommy Doyle's in Kendall Square from 6 to 8 p.m. for a free event hosted by MITX.  The event features a talk from HubSpot author, co-founder and CEO Brian Halligan, followed by a book signing of Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media and Blogs.

Inbound Marketing, co-authored by Halligan and HubSpot co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, is a how-to guide to inbound marketing for businesses, showing that inbound marketing-focused businesses have a 61% lower cost per lead than traditional outbound-focused businesses.  The book teaches readers how to improve rankings in Google to get more traffic, build and promote a business blog, grow and nurture a community on social networks, measure the metrics that matter and do more of what works online.

The evening will kick off with some networking and will top off with book signings by Brian for Inbound Marketing and David Meerman Scott for his popular book, The New Rules of Marketing and PR, both part of Scott's The New Rules of Social Media book series

Don't own copies of these books yet?  No worries - the MIT bookstore will be present to sell you some.

For event details and to register, visit http://www.mitx.org/events/2087.cfm.

We hope to see you there!
