Here at HubSpot, our work is exceptionally important to us and we take it seriously. But just as important as our work is our company culture.
At this year's company meeting, Dharmesh Shah, one of our co-founders and our Chief Software Architect, took some time to discuss the culture of HubSpot, who we are and how we work.

Our Values
- We skip the rose-colored glasses. At HubSpot, we are realists. We do not brush problems to the side and we are expected to talk about and work through issues.
- We are problem-solvers. We are not satisfied with the status quo.
- Data drives our decisions. We encourage everyone to contribute their opinions, but hard data ultimately wins.
- We have minimal hierarchy. We try to keep our organization relatively flat, with managers who work, not just manage.
- We are supremely transparent. There are very few questions we won't answer. As Dharmesh says, "Whether it's right, wrong or different, it is."
What Defines HubSpot
- We like to hire superstars. Smart, passionate, inquisitive people are likely to fit the bill.
- We are constantly changing. Change is opportunity, and because we love to experiment, we do better with change.
- We think about scale. As we make decisions, we think about how these decisions could help us grow into the company we want to become.
