Today, HubSpot announced that the Portsmouth office is continuing to grow in 2019 with the announcement of Jill McFarland joining as Director of Customer Success and the intention to move the office to a bigger space in downtown Portsmouth.
Previously at Bottomline Technologies, a local Portsmouth technology company, Jill is a motivated and dynamic leader with exceptional client service execution and strategy experience. In her new role at HubSpot, Jill will direct and support the implementation, customer success and migration teams in strategies to build long lasting relationships with customers. In addition, Jill will manage the day-to-day operations of the Portsmouth office collaborating with other senior leaders across the organization on strategy and execution serving as a coach and leader to team managers.
“I am beyond thrilled and grateful to join the HubSpot team and it’s been exciting to see the growth trajectory for HubSpot in the Portsmouth-area,” said Jill McFarland. “The passion demonstrated during the interview process for the company, culture, products and customer growth was incredibly apparent and the opportunity to help companies grow faster and more intelligently using the HubSpot platform was a true selling point. I am looking forward to working with the PortSpot team to expand the footprint and make HubSpot one of the best and most recognized places to work in New Hampshire.”
“The growth of our Portsmouth office is a testament to the incredible success of our support and services teams helping businesses grow better,” said JD Sherman, Chief Operating Officer at HubSpot. “We’re thrilled to welcome Jill to HubSpot and her proven success in driving customer delight will help expand our impact globally.”
To accommodate the growing headcount in Portsmouth, HubSpot intends to move the office to a larger space at the proposed McIntyre site, an exciting project by the Redgate-Kane development team. While still under negotiations, the project would feature the very best and latest in urban design providing a variety of public space and lifestyle amenities that would benefit residents, businesses, and the entire community of Portsmouth.
“It’s critical for the success of our offices to be involved in the local community and we’re excited and energized to be a part of a proposed project that would attract new residents, employees, and customers to downtown Portsmouth,” said Ken Papa, Senior Director, Global Real Estate and Facilities at HubSpot. "The proposed McIntyre project would include a number of features, including open space, co-working spaces, markets and more that the Redgate-Kane development team has designed to transform an underutilized block while furthering downtown Portsmouth’s commitment of community first.”
