2022

Last Modified: March 03, 2022

We’re so glad you’ll be joining us for HubSpot’s GROW event (the “GROW Event”). For complete details on the terms that apply to registration and other important stuff, please read through the below.

REGISTRATION AND RATES

Once you complete the purchase of your registration, the purchase and rate are final and won’t be adjusted later. It is your responsibility to confirm that the price displayed at checkout is the price that you expect and agree to pay before you complete your purchase.

We may offer a promotional, coupon, discount, or similar code (let’s just call them “promotional codes”), for instance as part of a limited-time sale. These codes are generally tied to a specific pass (for example, the General Admission) or to a group of passes and their value cannot be applied towards another pass or another group of passes, including if you upgrade to a different pass later. Promotional codes cannot be applied retroactively to a previously completed purchase.

If you are purchasing group tickets, we may register your attendees for you using the names and email addresses you provide. You are responsible for obtaining your attendees’ permission to share their personal information with HubSpot and for HubSpot, its vendors, and/or GROW Event sponsors to use their information as described in the ‘Privacy section below. You are also responsible for your attendees’ compliance with these terms and conditions. We may refuse entry or cancel registration for any attendee that does not comply.

CANCELLATION

Things happen. We understand. Here’s how cancellation and refunds work:

  • In the unlikely event that we have to reschedule or cancel a GROW Event, or if we have to change the format to a digital-only event, we’ll notify you by a public announcement on https://www.hubspot.com/grow-events, by email, and/or by other methods. If the event is canceled, your registration will also be canceled and we’ll refund any registration fees received from you. If the event is rescheduled or changed to a digital-only format and you’re no longer able to attend, you may cancel your registration by giving us written notice within two (2) weeks of receiving our notice. If you do not notify us of your cancellation within that time, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Other cancellation and refund rights depend on the specifics of your purchase.

To cancel your registration (and get your refund, if applicable), you will need to notify us in writing at growevents@hubspot.com

If you’re entitled to a refund, the amount refunded will be based on the fees paid for the registration(s) you cancel and will be refunded to your original payment method – we don’t issue checks for refunds. These cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason that you cancel (even if you, unfortunately, need to cancel for personal reasons or other stuff that’s out of your control).

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER

You have the option of transferring your pass to another person if your plans change (or if you just feel like it). Your pass can be transferred up until you picked up onsite (for in-person attendees) or use it to activate your GROW Event account for online attendees. Online accounts cannot be shared. You can transfer your own registration—or another that you purchased—by logging in to manage your registrations and find additional instructions here.

If you need assistance transferring a registration, you can contact us at growevents@hubspot.com. We reserve the right, at our option, to charge a Service Fee of up to $50 USD for each registration that you request our assistance to transfer.  In order to transfer a registration, you must be able to demonstrate to our satisfaction that you are the original registrant or purchaser, or that you are otherwise authorized to make changes to the registration.

Please remember that transferring your registration does not automatically transfer your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for transferring your own hotel and travel reservations.

PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us, so please read our full privacy policy here, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Registration data

We may share your registration data with our vendors in order to provide event information and help improve your experience at GROW Event(s) or future HubSpot events. For example, if we offer a mobile app, we might make your data available to the mobile app provider so it’s accessible through the app. We may also share your registration data with providers related to GROW Event(s), like our event platform and registration service providers, and other vendors who work with us to make sure our GROW Event(s) are a great experience for you. By providing your registration data to us, you grant us permission to do these things.

What we will not do is sell, rent, or give your registration data to third parties unless you allow us to do so (because there’s nothing worse than going to an event than getting spammed by strangers for weeks). You have the option at registration to allow us to share your registration information (including your name and email) with GROW Event sponsors, and if you select this option, we’ll share your information with GROW Event sponsors so you can receive communications directly from them. You also may have the option of sharing your information (such as your avatar, name, company, and job title) directly with other attendees or sponsors through our event platform or other online communities. If you choose to share (or allow us to share) your information, you understand that we do not control how other attendees or sponsors use your information. The important point here is that you will have control over which information is shared with other attendees and/or sponsors, and you can choose whether or not to share your information. If you believe a sponsor or other attendee has collected your information without your consent, please inform us immediately.

Performance metrics

We may share performance metrics such as page views, clicks, and impressions with GROW Event sponsors or vendors to measure the performance of our GROW Event platform, content, and advertising that we provide through the platform. We will use this information in compliance with our privacy policy.

BEHAVIOR AND CONTENT

By registering for GROW Event(s), you agree to follow our Code of Conduct, which you can find here. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behavior we expect from everyone at HubSpot events, including INBOUND and our GROW Events. You should read the whole thing, but the summary is pretty simple: don’t be a jerk.

If we (in our sole discretion) determine that you are behaving in a manner that is—or could be—disruptive to the event or other attendees, violates our Code of Conduct, or is in violation of these terms, then we can limit your access or ban you from the event. If we do, you aren’t entitled to any form of refund or compensation. At our discretion, we may also ban you from future events for a definite or indefinite time period.

If you notify us of an individual who you believe is acting in a manner that violates our Code of Conduct or these terms, we will take your concern seriously, but any action that we may or may not take will be at our sole discretion.

Drones are not allowed at the event. Hoverboards, rollerblades, roller skates, skateboards or use of other forms of recreational transportation devices are also not allowed at the event. Of course, this section doesn’t restrict you from using any required assistive device (like, a wheelchair, walker, or motorized scooter) if needed due to a disability or injury. If you need any assistance getting around the event, please contact us at growevents@hubspot.com, or ask a GROW Event representative on-site.

You’re invited—and indeed, encouraged—to meet and visit with all of the great companies who will be joining us as official sponsors and exhibitors at the GROW Event. But keep in mind that “suitcasing” or “outboarding” is strictly prohibited at GROW Events.

The views or opinions expressed by any event attendee, speaker or sponsor are not necessarily our views or opinions. All event attendees, speakers, and sponsors are responsible for their own content (including presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online Web content). You are not allowed to use any content that infringes another party’s intellectual property rights, is harassing, misleading, or unlawful.

We don’t want confusion about our event, so you agree that you won’t host any competing events during GROW Event(s) and you won’t use the GROW name or the names of our sponsors (which includes HubSpot), without our written permission first.

AGE LIMITATIONS

You have to be at least 18 years of age (or legal age in the location where the GROW Event occurs, if higher than 18) to drink alcohol, and you’ll show us a valid ID if we ask. Of course, all drinking should be done responsibly.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND AUDIO RECORDING

Unless we notify you otherwise, then you’re permitted to take screenshots, photos, videos, or audio recordings (collectively, “recordings”) of most sessions at GROW Event(s), as long as you comply with these terms.

These recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights which we own or license. So, other than for your personal use, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.

Attendees are not permitted to take recordings using professional camera equipment, such as DSLR cameras, lights, or tripods. However, using a camera phone or a smaller digital camera is fine. If you have GROW Event media credentials, you will be permitted to use professional equipment, provided it has been approved and tagged by a member of the GROW Event media team. You can request media credentials at growevents@hubspot.com.

We allow – and even encourage you – to disseminate your recordings through social media (like tweeting, or posting to Facebook or Instagram), as long as the clips aren’t more than one minute in length and you are otherwise in compliance with these terms. Here are a couple of examples of what’s allowed: tweeting “#GROWLONDON2022 = the best time ever!” with a picture of you or your team attending the digital sessions, and posting a screenshot of HubSpot’s keynote presentation on Instagram. Here are a couple of examples of what’s not allowed: posting a live stream of a breakout session, and posting a picture on Facebook of one of our speakers after we announced that recordings aren’t allowed.

Now some important restrictions: you agree that you won’t use any recordings (1) in a way that is misleading or disparaging, (2) in a way that implies that the content of the recordings is your own, (3) for commercial purposes (this means, for example, you can’t sell them) or in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor or approve of your business, services or products, or (4) in violation of applicable law (including but not limited to privacy laws) or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material. If we request that you discontinue the use of any recordings, you will immediately comply with our request. And of course, if we do notify you that recordings aren’t allowed, then you agree that you won’t take any recordings.

Now about recordings we can take: by attending a GROW Event and related events, you consent to have your image, voice, likeness, presentation, and/or other copyrightable material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography. We reserve the right to use recordings taken at GROW Events and related events however we might choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation. We might use them, for example, in our press releases, marketing materials, or other publications.

SWEEPSTAKES AND CONTESTS

By registering for a GROW Event, you understand and agree that you may be entered into sweepstakes or contests. There are separate terms and conditions that apply to each of these sweepstakes and contests, so even if you've entered, you may or may not be eligible to win. If you don’t want to be entered into any sweepstakes or contests, you can opt out by sending a request in writing to growevents@hubspot.com.

SECURITY AND SAFETY

We want everyone to be safe at all GROW Events -- both in-person and online -- and we’re guessing you do too. By attending GROW Event(s) in person, you understand we might randomly check bags or other personal belongings, and you agree to not leave any of these unattended at any time. You also agree that you won’t bring anything to GROW Event(s) that could cause a safety hazard.

All security concerns should be reported to GROW Event staff immediately by emailing growevents@hubspot.com. Our security team may take whatever measures they deem appropriate without prior notice in order to aim to ensure the safety of attendees at GROW Events. You must comply with the direction of our security team, as well as all applicable rules and regulations.

Attendees and their belongings may be searched upon entry into GROW Events, and you, your Authorized Attendees, and Authorized Recipients consent to such searches and waive any related claims that might arise against HubSpot, its employees, and its agents related to such searches. If you or your Authorized Attendee or Authorized Recipient elect not to consent to such searches, you or they may be denied entry into GROW Events.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You understand and agree that there are certain risks of personal or property injury, illness, and/or death associated with attending GROW Events, including, without limitation, risks related to the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation or variation thereof, “COVID-19”). You understand and agree (a) that the risk of exposure to COVID-19 cannot be fully eliminated and is increased by proximity to other people, (b) that an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place or place where people are gathered, (c) that attending GROW Events may involve coming into close contact with other people, (d) that there is no guarantee, express or implied, that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 and (e) that exposure to COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, illness, disability, and other short-term and long-term health effects, including death.

Despite these risks, you voluntarily assume ALL known and potential risk and danger of injury and/or death from any cause, resulting from, in connection with, or incidental to GROW Events, including exposure to COVID-19. By accepting possession or by using any wristbands, you expressly assumes all risks and dangers arising from or incidental to GROW Events, whether such risks occur before, during, or after the event, and agrees that HubSpot, our employees, vendors, and agents are not responsible for any such risks and dangers.

AGENDA AND LIABILITY

We might make updates to the agenda from time to time, which could include a change in speakers or the cancellation of certain sessions. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker, entertainer, or presenter and won’t refund your registration or provide any other compensation based on changes to the agenda. We also can’t guarantee admission to any certain session, since all sessions are subject to capacity limits and availability, and we can’t guarantee the event will be free from Zoom bombing, phishing, or anything other kinds of harmful attendee interaction.

GROW Events are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If we are determined to have any liability to you, you agree our aggregate liability will be limited in all cases to one hundred dollars (US$100.)

FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS

Presentations at GROW Events may include certain “forward-looking statements" within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, including statements concerning our position to execute on our growth strategy in the mid-market, and our ability to expand our leadership position and market opportunity for our inbound platform. These forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, plans, objectives, expectations and intentions and other statements that may not be historical facts and statements identified by words such as "expects," "anticipates," "intends," "plans," "believes," "seeks," "estimates" or words of similar meaning.

Furthermore, actual results may differ materially from those described in the forward-looking statements and will be affected by a variety of risks and factors that are beyond our control including, without limitation, our history of losses; our ability to retain existing customers and add new customers; the continued growth of the market for an inbound platform; our ability to differentiate our platform from competing products and technologies; our ability to manage our growth effectively to maintain our high level of service; our ability to maintain and expand relationships with our marketing agency partners; our ability to successfully recruit and retain highly-qualified personnel; the price volatility of our common stock; and other risks set forth under the caption "Risk Factors" in our most recent Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q (or the most recent Annual Report on Form 10-K, if it’s more recent than the latest Form 10-Q), and our other SEC filings. We assume no obligation to update any forward-looking statements contained in this document as a result of new information, future events or otherwise.

THESE TERMS

Please be aware that we may update and change any part or all of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. If we update or change these Terms and Conditions, the updated Terms and Conditions will be posted at https://www.hubspot.com/grow-events-legal2022 (or another website we designate). The updated terms will become effective and binding on the next business day after they are posted. When we change these terms, the "Last Modified" date above will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent version. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. If you don’t agree to these terms, then you shouldn’t register for GROW Event(s).

That’s that! Now, let’s get out there and have some fun!
