In keeping with HubSpot tradition, we want to show our appreciation for our customers by giving all of our existing Marketing Hub Starter and Sales Hub Professional customers access to all of the new Marketing Hub Starter and Sales Hub Professional features at their current price. 

What does this mean for you?  

Customers who purchased Marketing Hub Starter or Sales Hub Professional prior to November 1, 2019 will be given access to the new features as they are made available without seeing a change in price. 

For customers who purchased Sales Hub Professional prior to November 1, 2019, we are committed to keeping the prices the same as a sign of our appreciation, however, we want to be clear that we do not intend to allow customers to add additional users (Sales Hub Professional) indefinitely at those same price points. You can expect that in the future, additional users will cost the then-current price listed on HubSpot.com/pricing. Additionally, please be aware that certain changes to your existing subscription could prompt a change in price. More information on this can be found in the FAQ.

I’m an active customer who purchased Marketing Hub Starter prior to November 1, 2019. What happens to my price after this date? Will I get access to the new Marketing Hub Starter features?

Customers who purchased Marketing Hub Starter prior to November 1, 2019 will automatically gain the full functionality of the new features of the Marketing Hub Starter product as they are made available, without seeing a change in price. Your Marketing Hub Starter subscription price won’t change as long as you remain an active Marketing Hub Starter customer. If there is a lapse in your subscription to Marketing Hub Starter and you choose to subsequently re-purchase, your new subscription will be based on the then-current list price on hubspot.com/pricing. Please see our Customer Terms of Service for more details.

 

When will I get access to the new Marketing Hub Starter features?

At our 2019 INBOUND event, we announced our plan to release some exciting enhancements to our Marketing Hub Starter product. If you are a Marketing Hub Starter customer who purchased prior to our INBOUND event, you may begin to see new features live in your portal beginning in September. If you are a Marketing Hub Starter customer who purchased following our INBOUND event, the new functionality is planned to be released on or around November 1, 2019. 


As we like to be transparent with our customers, we want to include a reminder that while we endeavor to continually develop our software, we do so in an agile way. This means that even our best-laid plans get adjusted. While we do expect to develop and improve our Marketing Hub Starter product, we can’t promise any specific features will be delivered on any specific timeline, including the features discussed above. We hope you’ll buy the product for where it’s at today and continue to see value over time. This means that you should not decide to buy based on a feature being made available in the future.

New Features:
  • Buy-now button - Create a call-to-action that directly connects a product in your product catalogue to an online purchase in Stripe. Stripe subscription required.
  • eSignature - Get digital signatures for quotes. No more printing and sending hard copies. eSignature is currently available as a feature in Sales Hub Enterprise. We'll be bringing it down to Sales Hub Professional with a limit of 10 signatures per paid user per month.
  • Calculated properties - Create fields that roll up data from other fields. Calculated properties is currently available as a feature in Sales Hub Enterprise. We'll be bringing it down to Sales Hub Professional with a limit of 5 calculated properties per portal.

I’m an active customer who purchased users for Sales Hub Professional prior to November 1, 2019. What happens to my price after this date? Will I get access to the new Sales Professional product features?

Customers who purchased Sales Hub Professional prior to November 1, 2019 will automatically gain the full functionality of the new features of the Sales Hub Professional product as they are made available, without seeing a change in price. Your Sales Hub Professional subscription price won’t change unless you add a user or decide to make a change to your subscription. (We explain what types of subscription changes might have pricing impact in FAQ #2 below.)

 

What could prompt my Sales Hub Professional price to change?

For those Sales Hub Professional users you purchase before November 1, 2019, you’ll get to maintain pricing on those users until you make a change to your Sales Hub Professional subscription. Changes to your subscription that will prompt a change in price include changes to your bill frequency, payment method, and/or commitment term. When your subscription does change for one of these reasons, your subscription fees will be based on the then-current prices we make available on our pricing page. Please note that the purchase of other HubSpot products will not initiate a change in your base subscription price for Sales Professional. Please see our Customer Terms of Service for more details.
