General HubSpot Nonprofit Criteria

To qualify for a non-profit status with HubSpot you must fulfill the criteria below:


Criteria 1

Organizations must be a registered charity, nonprofit or non-governmental organization with recognized legal status in their respective country or region (of equivalence to 501(c)(3) status under the United States of America Internal Revenue Code).

Our Nonprofit Product Discount is currently only available to eligible nonprofits in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. We will update this page as we grow!


Criteria 2

Eligible nonprofit organizations must have a mission to benefit the community. This can include, but is not limited to: the advancement of social, racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, climate, and educational justice. 

Examples of ineligible organizations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Colleges and universities, with exceptions for foundations or nonprofit research initiatives
  • Hospitals, healthcare networks, health plans, ambulatory/outpatient healthcare organizations;
  • Professional and semi-professional sports organizations;
  • Governmental organizations or agencies, such as international governmental organizations and United Nations Entities;
  • Political, labor, and fraternal organizations;
  • Individuals and private organizations.

Qualifying for non-profit status can grant you access to a few benefits or programs with HubSpot. For Example: 

Membership to the HubSpot for Nonprofits program. Program benefits include:
  • 40% discount on Professional and Enterprise Tier HubSpot Products*
  • Resources
  • Community 

*Conditions apply. We will apply the discount off the then-current list price, available at, for the duration you remain to be eligible as a nonprofit organization with HubSpot. Minimum contract term is one (1) year. Discount shall not apply to Starter Tier products, Add-Ons, capacity and limit Increases or other HubSpot non web-based applications, tools and platforms.
