Introducing Calendar-based Availability for Messages

How’d you like to chat with even more of your site visitors? The newest enhancement to messages will help you do just that.

The latest update lets you set your online availability. Choose the days and times where you’d like to appear as online. Get notified of incoming chat requests via email and/or Chrome notifications:

You can now add calendar-based availability by navigating to the messages settings page:

Once you set up calendar-based availability, you’ll no longer be required to have the messages tab open to appear as online.

It’s important to note that at this point in time, messages does not integrate with your Office 365 or Google Calendar. If you have meetings or appointments scheduled during your online hours, you will still appear as online.
