Making HubSpot CRM Work for Teams With Permissions

crm-permissionsIt's amongst the most common requests for HubSpot CRM - more control over which contacts, companies, deals and tasks each sales user sees and can access when they log into HubSpot CRM. That's why we're excited to introduce Permissions in HubSpot CRM.

Permissions makes this simple. Now, from user settings, an administrator can choose to give any user access to the entire database (all contacts, companies, deals & tasks) or only the records that are assigned to / owned by them. Ownership for contacts, companies, and deals is determined by the "HubSpot Owner" fields. Ownership for tasks is determined by the "Assigned To" field.
In addition to controlling which records users can see and edit, Permissions also allows an administrator to control which users have the ability to export records from HubSpot CRM.

Permissions settings are now available to all HubSpot CRM enabled portals. Visit Settings > Users, and click the edit icon to review and change the permissions settings of any user.
