What is it?
Users now have the ability to send a single follow up email to contacts directly from the lead flows tool. Our free users can now also manage their double opt-in emails as they create follow up emails through the lead flow creation process.
Why it matters?
Once you’ve gathered your leads, the next step is to engage with them and keep the conversation going. Adding simple follow up emails to lead flows allows you to create an action plan directly within the lead flows tool so you can convert more leads into customers.
How it works
When creating a new lead flow, the ‘Follow up’ tab will now give you the option to create a follow up email.
If you are a free user, a setup wizard will appear for you to set up double opt-in. In the first step, users will be asked to set their CAN-SPAM email footer.
In the second step, you will be asked to select the sender of the email, the language of the email, and the subject line of the email. Note that free users will not be able to disable double opt-in, nor will they be able to edit the content of the email.
After this initial setup, you can then create your lead flow follow up email.
If at any time you would like to edit your CAN-SPAM footer, or the sender, language, or subject line of your double opt-in email, you can do so by navigating to Settings > Marketing > Email.
Note: Marketing Hub Starter users will have the option to disable double opt-in within this side panel and manage it within settings instead. For Marketing Hub Basic through Enterprise users, lead flow follow-up emails will default to your portal-wide double opt-in settings.
