Contacts that originated from offline sources are now eligible for lead revisit notifications.
Why does it matter?
Lead Revisit Notifications are sent to HubSpot users when a contact returns to a website they have previously visited after becoming a lead. One side effect of this setup is that contacts with “Offline” sources (e.g. created from the API or an import) were ineligible for a lead revisit notification because the “revisit” in this case was actually the contact’s “first visit” from the perspective of the analytics tracking code.
With this update, we’ll now be able to send lead revisit notifications to you for all contacts in your database, regardless of their original source. You can now keep better tabs on how your contacts are interacting with your site, and tailor your marketing efforts accordingly.
