All users of HubSpot's social tools can now post and schedule photos directly from within HubSpot to Instagram.
Instagram is one of the fastest growing social platforms today - and not just for individual users. Businesses are gravitating towards the platform as a way to engage with their target audience, and Instagram’s user base of more than 800 million monthly active users. Studies show that 70% of Instagram users search for their favorite brands on the platform. Having an Instagram presence is just as essential to your business’ growth as having a Facebook or LinkedIn presence. With this update, HubSpot users will be able to fully lean into Instagram by publishing directly from within HubSpot, and measuring their results alongside their other social channels.
How does it work?
Publishing to Instagram will work exactly how publishing to any other social network works now: choose an image, set the time for your post, and the message will go out without any additional intervention.
In order to publish to Instagram directly from HubSpot, you must have a Business Instagram account. You can enable this by going into your profile Settings within Instagram. Once this is done, you can connect your Instagram account to HubSpot within Social Settings following these instructions.
Once your account is connected, you will see Instagram as an option when you go to compose a social message within HubSpot.
The rest is very similar to how you would compose a post for Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter today. Simply select your photo, give it a caption, add hashtags, associate it with a campaign, and either publish it immediately, or schedule it to publish sometime in the future.
You’ll also be able to monitor the number of Instagram followers you have, how many posts you’ve published, and see your top Instagram posts within the Top Messages report.
