What is it?
HubSpot has increased the speed it takes to sync SurveyMonkey data to HubSpot from hours to minutes.
Why does it matter?
In the past, HubSpot would check for new SurveyMonkey responses every 7-10 hours. This made real-time automation hard if you wanted to use this data for your HubSpot Workflows. It also kept relevant context away from your sales team, preventing them from having the full context when entering into a conversation with a prospect. This delay caused a considerable amount of pain and confusion for users who integrated with SurveyMonkey.
With today’s update, the native SurveyMonkey integration has increased its sync speed from 7-10 hours to a matter of minutes. This means that as soon as you receive a response to one of your surveys, you can expect that data to sync to HubSpot, so your team can take action on these contacts.
How does it work?
Instead of a scheduled “pull” of data between HubSpot and SurveyMonkey, the integration now uses webhooks to listen for new responses as they come in to SurveyMonkey. No action is required on your part for this increased speed in syncing to take effect.
