UPDATE 6/15: This visually refreshed events tool is now the new default for all Marketing Hub Enterprise Portals.
What is it?
The events tool, now found within Analytics Tools, has a fresh new look. The creation flow for events has also been changed to match the rest of the tool.
Why is it important?
Over the past few months, we’ve given the Sources Report, the Page Performance report, the Campaign Analytics report, and a number of other tools a face lift, creating a unified experience across all reporting tools in HubSpot. With the new design, Enterprise users can quickly gain insight and make decisions based off of granular actions taken by their website visitors.
How does it work?
Navigate to Reports > Analytics Tools > events. Once there, you will have the option in the bottom right hand corner to opt-in to the visually refreshed events tool. The new interface allows you to quickly compare one event to another. You can also add your events completions report to any dashboard within HubSpot, allowing you to contextualize events with the rest of your reports within HubSpot.
Clicking ‘Create event’ in the top right opens up a side panel, in which you can create events in a two step process. The same four events (Clicked element, Visited URL, Submitted form, and Custom event) are still available.
Who Gets it?
This update is now live in all Marketing Hub Enterprise portals.
What language is it in?
All languages supported by HubSpot
