Restrict Blog Access with CMS Memberships

CMS Memberships allow you to easily control access to your content by using HubSpot lists to determine who has access, and who doesn't. You can use this to create gated content for your customers only, or share content with event registrants to prep for the event. Now, you can extend this functionality to your blogs, and restrict access to a specific HubSpot hosted blog.

Applying CMS Membership permissions at the blog level makes creating and sharing premium content with your audience simple. You can automatically enroll your blog’s existing subscribers with the subscription list selection feature, or you can expand your audience with additional list additions. And once registered your members will always be in the know when new content is released, thanks to the RSS subscription options.

Within Blog settings, navigate to the Control Audience Access section and toggle the option for “This is a private blog…” It's important to note that in order to enable this feature, the user doing so must have publishing access in the account.

This feature is now available to Marketing Hub Enterprise customers.
