What is it?
With the snippets tool, you can quickly add commonly used phrases or paragraphs wherever you work. Previously, the snippets tool was available in the CRM; allowing you to add snippets to the notes you write and emails you send from the CRM. Now live, the snippets tool can also be used in Gmail and most versions of Outlook.
Why does it matter?
HubSpot is a tool built to help your teams simplify their process, perfect their timing, and build better relationships. The snippets tool helps you do exactly that - and now you have the freedom to choose where you want to work, within HubSpot or directly in your inbox.
- Simplify your process: You can use snippets to create a standard agenda for your sales calls. The snippets tool will quickly populate your call notes with all the questions you need to cover on your call.
- Perfect your timing: Snippets help you save time, sending out content quickly with a bit more flexibility for personalization than you would get from a template.
- Build better relationships: A big use case for snippets will eventually be within the context of conversations. Snippets will help reps be able to manage more 1:1 conversations with prospects at scale.
How does it work?
In the Sales Hub, navigate to SALES TOOLS > SNIPPETS. When creating a snippet, give it a name and draft your copy:
Next, simply click the snippet icon when composing an email and select the desired snippet option:
Who gets it?
Snippets for Gmail and most versions of Outlook is now live and available to all users.
Snippets is available for all languages supported by HubSpot.
