In this fireside chat, we’ll delve into the evolving world of Generative AI with Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot, and Sridhar Ramaswamy, CEO of Snowflake. Offering an insider's view on how HubSpot and Snowflake have effectively integrated and adopted AI, the session promises to provide valuable insights, from challenges faced to success stories and key learnings, all spun from the perspective of leaders at the helm.
In this panel, experts will address the complexities of implementing AI in business environments, focusing on the balance between innovation and adherence to regulations in data privacy, security, and compliance. The discussion will cover strategies for navigating these challenges, emphasizing the importance of compliance without stifling technological progress. Another key aspect of this discussion will center around the potential and pitfalls of large language models (LLMs). Panelists will compare various approaches such as fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and adapters, analyzing their impact on scalability, cost, and robustness in enterprise applications.
The panel will also delve into the critical issue of aligning AI strategies with business metrics. This includes establishing effective frameworks and policies for evaluating AI technologies and integrating them with business goals. A significant part of the discussion, will explore the challenges of change management when integrating AI, focusing on retraining workflows, process rewiring, and governance systems. This will provide insights into how enterprises can smoothly transition to AI-augmented operations.
Watch seven Gen AI startup showcase their business on stage:
This panel brings together venture capitalists to reflect on their previous year's predictions regarding Enterprise AI, focusing on what has and hasn't worked. This session will provide insights into the evolving landscape of Enterprise AI, as viewed from the investment perspective. Panelists will discuss current successes, future trends, and the trajectory of Enterprise AI over the next few years. The conversation will also cover market entry strategies for AI startups in the enterprise sector, analyzing trends in how large enterprises interact with these startups—whether through building in-house solutions, purchasing existing ones, or forming strategic partnerships. Additionally, the panel will identify and discuss emerging opportunities for Enterprise AI startups, highlighting areas of potential growth and impact in the enterprise sector. This discussion aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future potential of Enterprise AI from a venture capital standpoint.
As the modern AI capabilities enable innovative applications in a wide range of business and consumer domains, there is a need for an integrated stack of infrastructure, data, foundation models, frameworks and tools on which AI applications can be built, deployed and managed in a reliable, scalable and cost-effective manner. This emerging operating system for AI is based mostly on the hardware of GPUs with fast interconnects and foundation models that are pre-trained on a large corpus of data scraped from the public domain, and augmented or fine tuned with domain specific and/or proprietary datasets.
This panel will discuss the current state and evolution of the (i) hardware stack for both training and inference, spanning from large distributed compute farms to individual servers to edge devices, (ii) the critical nature of data for pre-training, RLHF, RAG, fine-tuning etc. (ii) the availability and value of public, annotated, and synthetic data, (iii) the strengths and challenges of current and upcoming foundation models and (iv) frameworks and tools needed to build AI applications including chatbots, copilots, agents, and robotics.
This discussion will explore the rapidly evolving field of AI agents, ranging from chatbots to sophisticated robotics. Panelists will discuss the current state of AI agents, their capabilities, and the cutting-edge developments shaping their future. The conversation will also venture into predictions and expectations for the next big breakthroughs in AI agents, discussing their potential impacts across various sectors. There will be a particular emphasis on how these technologies will evolve to become more integrated and influential in everyday business and personal activities.
