Announcing the updated Solutions Directory homepage

At Partner Kickoff held in February, we announced a plan to make continual improvements to the HubSpot Solutions Directory to help customers discover the right partner to help with their needs.

To that end, we’re incrementally rolling out a new, personalized homepage experience focused on helping visitors more easily navigate to the partners who best match their needs. This rollout will start with a small subset of users beginning January 8, 2024, and then to all users throughout January.

The updated Solutions Directory homepage is designed with the aim to:

  • Help both in-app and public users understand the purpose of the site.
  • Increase the quality of leads that partners receive from their profile.
  • Increase the visibility of accredited partners for specific services.

Updates you can expect to see:

  • ‘Find a Partner’ matching questionnaire: By answering a few simple questions, users will receive filtered results of partners suggested as the best fit for their specific needs.
  • Browse partners by popular service: Users can filter by most searched services, such as website development and design or account-based marketing.
  • Explore HubSpot accredited partners: Users can find partners who are accredited by HubSpot to help with the specific services associated with their accreditation.
  • Customized recommendations: The homepage will showcase recommended partners based on the logged-in user’s profile, location, industry and/or language.

We understand that partners rely on the Solutions Directory for lead generation, which is why we’re very sensitive to any changes we make and want to provide transparency around our research and decision-making process for the new homepage.

To mitigate risk to partners, we:

  • Gathered feedback on how customers search for partners from members of our Partner Advisory Council.
  • UX tested our initial design with select partners and revised our design based on their feedback.
  • Designed an incremental rollout plan to visitors starting early January 2024.

We will be closely monitoring conversion rates during the initial incremental rollout with an aim to ensure the update is seamless and has a positive impact on partner listings.

We’re specifically looking for improvements to bounce rate, visitor net promoter score (NPS), the number of clicks to “contact a partner” on listings, and the number of clicks to “contact a partner” on accredited partner listings.

There is no action required of partners with this change — our only recommendation is that you review your profile and ensure that your listing is accurate and up-to-date. For questions or feedback, we encourage you to reach out to a member of your HubSpot account team.
