Use Cases

Split up a lengthy page into more manageable sections by including a secondary navigation. Most commonly used as an on-page tool, provide your visitors with anchor links to various content segments within your page.

As the user scrolls, this module will "stick" to the top of the page for easy access later on. This module is best paired with a collection of Section Header modules, so that you can provide IDs to these sections and link to each of them from this navigation.

Guidelines
  • Character count
    • Limit navigation labels to 1 or 2 words (~15 characters)
  • Variations
    • Simple: add labels and URLs directly in the module fields
    • Dynamic: anchor links will automatically be generated based on Section Headers on your page
    • HubDB: links will be sourced from a HubDB table (ask the Web Team about this option)
  • Things to know
    • Anchor links look like this: #section-id
    • Can also use absolute URLs to external pages
