Template Highlights

The risk register template is available for download as an Excel workbook or a PDF.
The template is divided into three sections: Categorization, Rating, and Response.
In the Categorization section, list each of the risks you have identified, along with their respective categories.
Next, rate each risk on impact (1-4) and probability (%).
In the Response section, list potential strategies for mitigating each risk, and the trigger that would likely set it into motion.
Finally, calculate the new risk rating by combining all of the numerical factors.
