deloitteAttributes 27746% Revenue Growth to Accelerating Demand for Inbound Marketing Software Globally

Cambridge, MA, October 31, 2011 — HubSpot, Inc. today announced it ranked #8 on Technology Fast 500™, based on 27,764% revenue growth since 2006. With more than 5400 customers and 300 full-time employees, the Cambridge, MA-based maker of all-in-one inbound marketing software credits its explosive growth and recent streak of industry awards, including Inc500’s 2nd Fastest Growing Software Company and 33rd Fastest Growing Company overall, to the accelerated demand for inbound marketing software caused by the disruptive force of the Internet, social media, and mobile technology.

“Ten years ago, companies started their search for new products or services at tradeshows or by reading industry journals. Today, that search starts on Google or Twitter or LinkedIn, which is why inbound marketing has grown from an innovation to a necessity,” said Brian Halligan, the company’s co-founder and CEO.

Co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah added, “We’re very proud of HubSpot’s growth, but what made that possible is the results our customers are able to achieve through inbound marketing. The average HubSpot customer generates 4x more traffic and 25x more leads than they did prior to purchasing our software within the first six months, at an increase of 13-32% per month.”

Since 2006, HubSpot customers have used the HubSpot marketing software platform to generate over 7 million new leads. Earlier this year, the company acquired marketing automation software company Performable, and social media marketing company oneforty, after securing a $32 million Series D round of funding from Google Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Salesforce.com
