Marcus Andrews is the director of product marketing at Pendo.io, where he designs narratives, creates go-to-market strategies, and launches products. Previously, Marcus worked at HubSpot and Google, and was part of the team that grew Wildfire, which was acquired by Google in 2012. He is the co-creator and former host of the Product Marketing Experts podcast, and the author of “Narrative Design for Business.” Marcus is deeply involved in the product marketing community, serving as an ambassador for the Product Marketing Alliance and contributing to product marketing strategy discussions.

What is it?
Ticket status automation allows you to change the status of tickets automatically when you send or receive emails from customers. Now Live, Zoom for HubSpot brings video meetings into the CRM and Meetings Tool.

You can now add a Zoom video meeting link as the default option for any meeting you schedule with the HubSpot meetings tool and select Zoom as the conference option when scheduling a meeting with a contact in the HubSpot CRM.

Major updates to the GoToWebinar for HubSpot Integration

Webinars are one of the most successful inbound marketing tactics at creating high value leads. The format, when done well, provides a ton of value to your audience, and gives you a great signal that the attendees might make good customers. Automated Assignment will be exclusive to paid Pro seats by 11/1

What is it?

Come 11/1/18, automated assignment, the process of automatically assigning ownership of a CRM record, conversation, or any other object, will only be available for users with paid seats. Users who don’t have a paid seat will not be able to have an object assigned to them automatically.

This change only impacts new portals starting on 11/1. All pre-existing customers prior to this date will retain the ability to assign any user with automated assignment.

[Heads Up] Workflows Technical Limit

What is it:

Starting Dec 15, 2017 we’ll start enforcing a technical limit of 500 workflows per portal. This includes all workflows that show up in the Workflows tool, including inactive workflows.

This limit  helps us ensure quality of service and prevents situations where a few portals overload our system. At the moment only 0.5% of all portals have over 500 workflows, so the impact of this change should be small.

Workflows Navigation Updates

What is it:

Starting 11/1, we’re placing Workflows in the top-level navigation for all portals. This adds the Workflows navigation item to Sales (Free and Pro) portals, Marketing Basic portals and Marketing Free and Starter portals. 



This change doesn't bring Workflows to users who don't have it as part of their instance of HubSpot but will serve as a way for them to learn more.
