We’re delighted to announce that Kevin Ackhurst has joined HubSpot as Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. In his new role, Kevin will be responsible for HubSpot’s performance across ANZ and will be based in HubSpot’s Australian office in Sydney.
Prior to joining HubSpot, Kevin spent six years at Google, where he had key leadership roles across the Asia Pacific Region and in the ANZ market, including as the Director of Google for Work APAC, followed by managing the Brand, Media, Consulting and Creative Agencies in ANZ. Kevin’s extensive experience in the tech industry also includes time at Juniper Networks as the Vice President for Asia, and nearly fifteen years at Microsoft, finishing as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for their Asia Pacific business.
“ANZ is an important growth market for HubSpot, particularly as we continue to fill in our product portfolio across Marketing, Sales, and Service Hub. Kevin brings significant experience across both the channel and enterprise segments and across multiple geographies. This experience combined with his successful track record will be key as we continue to grow and work with a number of larger, sophisticated customers like Sendle and KeepCup, and partner with homegrown powerhouse brands such as Xero and Canva. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Kevin to the team,” said Jeetu Mahtani, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International at HubSpot.
Kevin’s appointment follows a period of instrumental growth for HubSpot in the region. The depth of his industry experience, as well as his passion and past involvement in diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and organisational culture initiatives, will bring an immeasurable impact to HubSpot in ANZ.
