Yesterday we blogged our thank-you and goodbye to the Cambridge Innovation Center, HubSpot's home since its founding in 2006.  So where did we go?

Not too far, actually. Yesterday, HubSpotters packed up their things and moved less than a mile away to the Davenport building on 25 First Street, still in Cambridge.

"When we realized we'd need to relocate, we decided it was very important to us that we stay in the Cambridge area," said HubSpot Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Dharmesh Shah.  "Cambridge is the heart of Boston's startup community, and we really wanted to stay true to our roots and continue to be a part of such a great hub for innovative activity."

HubSpot's much larger, bright orange office space on First Street affords HubSpot the capacity to continue its growth, allowing HubSpot to better serve the needs of its customers and continue improving upon and making additions to the tools and features in the HubSpot software.

Keeping in line with HubSpot's emphasis on transparency and open communication, HubSpot's new office continues to support HubSpot's "no door policy," in which no employees (not even the executives) have an office.  Instead, HubSpotters sit amongst themselves and participate in quarterly seat rotations in order to get to know more of their fellow employees.

And of course, HubSpot's new office also comes equipped with it's own game room and HubSpot TV studio so HubSpotters can take a break from coding and blogging to play a friendly (or not so friendly) game of foosball or ping pong.

Special thanks go to architects Vincenzo Giambertone and Todd Terranova of architecture3s, as well as real estate advisors Roy Hirshland, Greg Hoffmeister and G. Kent Gonzalez of T3 Advisors for their tremendous help with the HubSpot move!
