ELIGIBILITY: Open only to persons who are 18 years of age or older, residents of Australia, and currently employed at a company. Current students not employed at a company are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Neither employees of HubSpot Australia or its affiliates, nor their spouses, parents, children, siblings, or other immediate family are eligible to enter or win a prize. All applicable federal, state, municipal, territorial and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase is necessary to win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

COMPETITION PERIOD: The End of 2015 Marketing Assessment and Free Inbound Marketing Book (Australia) Competition (“Competition”) entry period begins at the Entry Open Date above and ends at the Entry Close Date above (the "Competition Period"). Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted and timely received during the Competition Period.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Competition Period, submit an entry with your name and email address and sign up for an inbound marketing assessment at (telling us in 100 words or less about your top content marketing tip for 2016). Limit One (1) Entry per person, per e-mail address, and per household during the Competition Period via Online Entry, regardless of whether a person has more than one address or more than one person uses the same address. Each entrant is only eligible to win one prize (except for South Australian residents, who are entitled to win more than one prize).

JUDGING: The Competition is a Game of Skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. 100 winners will be determined by a panel of marketing experts employed by HubSpot Australia, based on originality and relevance to the field of content marketing, with the selection to be held on the Winner Selection Date above at Level 19, 1 O’Connell Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. Winners will be selected from entries received during the Competition Period. The potential winners will be notified via email to the email address submitted with the potential winner’s entry within one (1) week after the selection. The selection will be conducted by HubSpot Australia, the judge of the Competition, whose decisions on all matters relating to the Competition shall be final. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason or if the prize is not claimed within one month after the prize notification, an unclaimed prize selection will take place at Level 19, 1 O’Connell Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 on 28 December 2015. The alternate winner will be notified in writing within one (1) week of such selection.

Prizes/Odds of Winning Prize: Each prize will consist of an inbound marketing prize pack, valued at a maximum of $278.95 AUD and including:

  • One (1) Kindle edition of the book Inbound Marketing: Attract, Convert, and Engage Customers Online: $28.95 AUD; and
  • One (1) content marketing assessment (including an evaluation of your current website and custom advice on how to get more traffic and leads from your website, to be redeemed within four months of winner notification): $250 AUD.

The total prize pool of the Competition is valued at $27,895 AUD.

Overall odds of winning depend on number of entries received during the Competition Period. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize. No prize transfer. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, HubSpot Australia reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

CONDITIONS: HubSpot Australia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition (or portion thereof). HubSpot Australia also reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify the Entry of any individual who tampers with the entry process, submits an incomprehensible or incomplete entry, violates these Official Rules, or submits an entry that includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements or breaches any other person or entity's legal rights. Should a dispute arise regarding the identity of the claimant, HubSpot Australia reserves the sole right to determine the eligible party. HubSpot Australia reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of HubSpot Australia. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. All taxes on prizes and any expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. BY ENTERING, ENTRANT WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO BRING (AND COVENANTS NOT TO BRING) ANY CLAIM AGAINST HUBSPOT AUSTRALIA, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ANY OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COMPETITION. ENTRANTS FURTHER AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS HUBSPOT AUSTRALIA AND ITS AFFILIATES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION, OR HUBSPOT AUSTRALIA AND ITS AFFILIATES’ USE OF ANY ENTRY INFORMATION. Any disputes that may arise hereunder shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles of any jurisdiction.

PUBLICITY AND RELEASE. As a condition of entry into the Competition, except where prohibited by law, each entrant and each winner by accepting a prize grants to HubSpot Australia and its affiliates all right, title and interest in, to publicize, broadcast, reproduce, display and/or otherwise use, the Competition entrant’s name, city, state, biographical material, and entry (collectively, “Licensed Rights”) in any media for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional review, compensation, or approval of the winner. All entries must not infringe upon the legal rights, including copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. If Winner does not respond to notification, such prize will be forfeited. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.

PRIVACY. HubSpot Australia collects and holds personal information of about entrants and any other individuals whose personal information is included in an entry to conduct the promotion and to enable them to participate in this promotion. Entrants agree they have informed any other person whose information they include in their entries of these terms and conditions and this clause in particular. If entrants do not wish their personal information to be used and disclosed for this purpose they cannot participate in the promotion. Personal information collected by the Promoter will otherwise be used and disclosed in accordance with the privacy policy of HubSpot which is available at and whose terms form part of these terms and conditions. The privacy policy explains how to request access to and correction of personal information, how to make a complaint and how complaints are handled and any overseas disclosures of the personal information HubSpot Australia collects. For avoidance of doubt, HubSpot Australia may disclose this personal information to its affiliates, including HubSpot, Inc., and may transfer data to other countries for such purpose.
