Inbound Marketing University Opens Registration for January Classes, Exam

Trying to think of a good New Year's Resolution for 2010?  Here's an idea: resolve to learn more about inbound marketing!  More specifically, resolve to become an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional by taking free marketing training classes at Inbound Marketing University (IMU).

We've just launched the registration for two new, live IMU webinar courses, to be held next semester in late January.  

New January Classes:

1. Internet Marketing Comprehensive Review

Professor: Mitch Joel, author of Six Pixels of Separation Date: January 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. ET

In this class, Mitch will review all the components of Inbound Marketing. He will touch upon New Media, Consumer Generated Content and Social Media, and how these marketing touch points are helping develop consumers out of conversations.

2. Social Media for Big Business (GF302)

Professor: Paula Berg, Southwest Airlines, Linhart PR Date: January 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. ET

After 10 years working at Southwest Airlines as the company's Manager of Emerging Media, Paula has extensive experience in how to manage a large company's online brand. This case-study driven class will present different lessons in how big businesses can use social media effectively.

Certification Exam:

January's new classes will be followed by a re-launch of the certification exam, available from January 28 through February 11, 2010, 5 p.m. ET.  Those who register for and pass the exam will earn the title of Inbound Marketing Certified Professional and will receive a PDF certificate along with an HTML badge for their website/blog.
