This Thursday, March 12, 2009, HubSpotters Karen Rubin, Rebecca Corliss, and Ellie Mirman will head out to Boston's South Shore to teach the women of Geek Girl Camp Boston about inbound marketing and social media.

Geek Girl Camp

Geek Girl Camp is an unconference specifically for women who want to learn how to use different forms of technology for personal development and business purposes. The day-long bootcamp will take place on March 12, 2009 in Randolph, Massachusetts and will feature dozens of workshops on graphic design, social media, and a variety of internet marketing topics.

HubSpot TV star and product owner Karen Rubin will provide an introduction to using social media, including the value of social media and how to get started using social media.

Rebecca Corliss, Inbound Marketer and HubSpot video and social media guru, will do a deeper dive into using Twitter for business, including how to use the social media tool for PR, customer service, and branding.

Ellie Mirman, fellow Inbound Marketer and resident Facebook specialist, will explain how marketers can use Facebook to promote their business and connect with customers directly in the ever-growing Facebook network.

Finally, Rebecca and Ellie will join forces to provide an introduction to inbound marketing - what it is, why you should care, and how to use inbound marketing on a day-to-day basis for your business.

If you're a woman in the area looking to get up to speed on social media and inbound marketing, join us at Geek Girl Camp on March 12 and be sure to come introduce yourself to us HubSpotters!
