Keynote-SpeakerSugarCRM and BrainSell are teaming up to bring CRM Acceleration to Boston on Tuesday, March 23rd, with HubSpot Founder and Chief Technology Officer Dharmesh Shah featured as the keynote speaker. The seminar fittingly revolves around the topic of bridging the gap between social media hype and business value.

Other speakers include Mitch Lieberman (Vice President of Strategic Solutions at SugarCRM), Umberto Milletti (CEO and Co-Founder of InsideView), Martin Schneider (Director of Marketing at SugarCRM), and Chip Meyers of Insource Performance Solutions.

In a recent interview with Mitch Lieberman, Dharmesh discussed the adoption curve of social media businesses as well as the sales process in a B2B environment. Dharmesh also emphasized the use of "online channels [to] educate the prospect in a non-threatening way. This helps build trust and allows the person to engage the business in ways that are comfortable."

Social CRM echoes this idea through treating people with respect, and helping people find what they need instead of simply telling them what they need. By deriving this business value from the use of social media and CRM, companies can better understand customer needs and efficiently accelerate sales.
