Marketing and Sales organizations using HubSpot for lead tracking will automatically get data about where their leads can be found - For example, on Twitter or LinkedIn, with links directly to their profile. HubSpot finds this data for you, so that you don't need to ask - and it's completely automated. HubSpot will only show the data if we are sure we have a match - Currently, we have a match for approximately 30% of all leads across all HubSpot customers!
With HubSpot's Social Media Lead Intelligence, sales people can work their leads more intelligently and build rapport by understanding interests, personality, and experiences. If they follow them on Twitter or connect with them on LinkedIn, they can increase their connect rate and learn more about their lead. Marketers can also use the social media information from LinkedIn and Twitter to assign leads to specific sales reps in order to maximize close rates. By examining a lead's LinkedIn connections and experience, you can identify which rep has common experiences or connections with a lead, and refer them appropriately.
