Ever since the first annual HubSpot User Group attracted more than 500 attendees last year, customers and HubSpotters alike have been asking, "When is the next global event!?"

Glad you asked.HUGS Logo 2011

The HubSpot team is excited to announce that the second annual HubSpot User Group Summit, HUGS 2011 -- the largest global gathering of inbound marketers -- will be held in Boston on September 15th and 16th, 2011. This year, HUGS will occur immediately on the heels of the two-day Inbound Marketing Summit, giving HubSpot customers the best of two worlds: broad marketing thought leadership and specific hands-on skill building in the same place!

The HubSpot User Group Summit is complemented by local HUG meetups that currently occur in 8 cities around the globe. By gathering in Boston this fall, HUGS attendees will have the opportunity to network and share inbound marketing inspiration, best practices, and hands-on training with peers and thought leaders on a grand scale.

The 2011 agenda is aimed at helping HubSpot users get the most value out of their inbound marketing tools while building new skills. It will feature experts on what's next in marketing as well as direct-to-customer training by the company that created the concept and leading software behind inbound marketing. The HubSpot User Group Summit will include:

Thursday, September 15th

  • Exclusive HubSpot Value Added Reseller Education
  • Evening Welcome Reception and Awards

Friday, September 16th

  • General Session featuring Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah
  • 3 Tailored Content Tracks
  • Interactive Group Discussions and Hands on Training
  • One-on-One Consulting Sessions
  • Networking Lunch and Breaks

“Last year at HUG, customers combined their digital training with a face-to-face experience that deepened their understanding of inbound marketing while forging strong relationships with the peers and people that are helping them grow their businesses,” said Jonah Lopin, HubSpot’s VP of customer success. “Combining the power of the local HubSpot User Groups in active cities like Dallas-Fort Worth, a global event like HUGS enables us to ignite a network of users who can learn from and teach one another, achieving the best possible results from inbound marketing and HubSpot.”

HubSpot customers will have exclusive access to discounted ticket packages for HUGS plus the Inbound Marketing Summit, a two day conference on Wednesday, September 14th and Thursday, September 15th, expected to take place at the same venue as HUGS in Boston. These two events combine theory and practice to give attendees actionable strategies to improve their marketing and grow their businesses.  Boston residents and travelers alike may also take advantage of the marketing events occurring throughout Boston as a part of FutureM 2011, the second annual multi-location series of events on what’s new and what’s next in marketing.

Although Boston may be emerging as the center of the inbound marketing universe, HubSpot customers are actively gathering in cities across the globe to share the benefits of personal networking on a local level.  HubSpot users in Dallas, New York, San Francisco and even London, among other places, can now find one another and join a local user group online.  These self-organizing groups meet monthly to share successes, challenges and brainstorm new marketing ideas, thereby extending the value of their inbound marketing tools and delivering improvements in lead generation and sales.
