We are excited to share that HubSpot ranked 12 on Great Place to Work®’s Best Workplaces in Europe 2019 list of Large companies, released today. The list recognizes organizations in Europe with great company culture, strong career growth opportunity, and most importantly, happy employees. View the full list here.
Great Place to Work® determined the list based on an employee satisfaction survey taken by more than 1.3 million employees across companies in Europe. This is HubSpot’s first time being recognized as a Best Workplace in Europe, so we want to thank our employees for their feedback and commitment to making HubSpot an amazing place to work!
Of the recognition, HubSpot’s Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations Jeetu Mahtani said, “It’s truly humbling to see HubSpot recognized as a Best Workplace in Europe today. I remember when we opened our first European office in Dublin over six years ago, and it’s amazing to see the impact our employees in Ireland, Germany, and France have had on HubSpot’s growth since then. Personally, I feel lucky to work with them and to be part of a company that puts their happiness first. Culture isn’t an HR priority at HubSpot, it’s a core business priority. We want to help amazing people grow, personally and professionally, and this award is a strong sign that we are on the right track. Thank you to the Great Place to Work® organization for this opportunity, and most of all, thank you to our employees for building a great company in Europe - we are just getting started!”
HubSpot has over 2,700 employees globally with three offices in Europe. Our European headquarters, HubSpot Dublin, opened in 2013, followed by HubSpot Berlin in 2017, and most recently, HubSpot Paris, which launched in May 2019. As we grow globally, we’re committed to scaling HubSpot’s strong company culture and building an even more inclusive workplace. In 2013, we published the HubSpot Culture Code, which has over 4M views today, to codify our values, beliefs, and quirks that make HubSpot a uniquely great place to work. Namely, our core values can best be described as HEART, which stands for Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent. By keeping these values top of mind, as well as our mission of helping millions of organizations grow better, we’ve been lucky to create a culture that employees truly love.
Over the past year, HubSpot’s been recognized as a Great Place to Work in Ireland and for Women in Ireland, a Top 25 Best Place to Work in Germany by Glassdoor, and a Best Company for Diversity by Comparably.

About the Best Workplaces in Europe List:
Great Place to Work® identifies the top organizations that create great workplaces in the Europe region through publishing the annual Best Workplaces in Europe list. The list recognizes companies in four size categories: Small (Under 50 employees); Medium (between 50 and 500 employees); Large (more than more than 500 employees); and Multinational. To be considered for inclusion, companies must appear on one or more of our national lists in the 19 countries represented on the list (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, The Netherlands, United Kingdom).
Multinational organizations must meet the following requirements:
1) Have at least 1,000 employees worldwide, with at least 40% (or 5,000) of those employees based outside the headquarters country and
2) Appear on at least three national lists.
Multinationals also receive additional credit for their efforts to successfully create an excellent workplace culture in multiple countries in the region. The data used in the calculation of the regional list comes from national lists published in 2018 and early 2019.
