Inbound Marketing Trailblazer to Keynote a New Marketing Conference

Online marketing trailblazer Gary Vaynerchuk has joined all-in-one marketing software provider HubSpot, Inc.’s Advisory Board. In this new role, Gary will advise HubSpot on strategic matters, make introductions and participate in HubSpot’s world class marketing education programs. He will also deliver the closing keynote for Inbound 2012, a new 3 day marketing conference debuting in Boston August 27-30, 2012.

“I was glued to my chair watching Gary speak at the Inc. 500 awards ceremony,” said Brian Halligan, CEO and co-founder of HubSpot. “He tells the inbound marketing story better than I do! It is thrilling to come across people who independently have come to the same conclusions about transforming marketing and business.”

“HubSpot software gets businesses out of the position where they’re at the mercy of anyone between them and the consumer. It gives them tools to directly attract and serve their customers.” said Gary Vaynerchuk, co-founder of Vaynermedia and New York Times bestselling author of Crush It and The Thank-You Economy. “In this era of the humanization of business, small town marketing rules mean companies need to attract attention and loyalty by delivering value and ideas, not by cramming stuff down people’s throats.”

Vaynerchuk joins an elite Advisory Board, including Sequoia Capital General Partner Jim Goetz, Dropbox Founder and CEO Drew Houston, best-selling marketing authors Chris Brogan and David Meerman Scott and MIT Principal Research Scientist Andrew McAfee.

HubSpot's annual conference, formerly known as HUGS, is now much more than just a user group. It is called Inbound 2012 and will not only double in size to 2,000 inbound marketers but include 6 keynotes, 40 breakout sessions, a marketing innovations track, networking, expert-led training & certification, hands-on product demos and more. It will be held August 27-30 at the Hynes Convention Center on Boston. To purchase early bird tickets, visit the registration page.
