Prior to joining HubSpot, Jim was CTO and President of Pyramid Digital Solutions, an enterprise software company, where he participated in organizational optimization, product development, and technical sales generation. Jim helped double revenue in under two years and helped sell the business to SunGard in 2005. Afterwards, Jim stayed on as SVP and CTO, while he created and implemented a technology strategy for a new enterprise services architecture and re-energized major accounts with a new technology plan.
Throughout his career, Jim has focused on product development primarily for web enterprise applications and on creating new platforms for existing business to generate new or increased revenue. For the last eight years, Jim has served in SVP/CTO positions for product lines ranging from $6 million in revenue to $100+ million in revenue. Jim has been part of groups that doubled their revenue in three years or less with an emphasis on heavily client-funded R&D to incubate new products and revenue. Jim holds a BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
