Here at HubSpot, we love it when celebrities, government officials and industry leaders unexpectedly pay a visit to HubSpot headquarters.

Today, we were pleasantly surprised with an appearance from US Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke.  Locke was stopping by to tour the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) that HubSpot calls home and meet with CIC Founder and CEO Tim Rowe, who is very involved in the startup/innovation community.

HubSpotters of course welcomed the arrival of the Secretary in style, gathering for a big, family-style photo with Locke when he arrived.

Toting his posse of Secret Service agents, the Secretary chatted HubSpot with CEO and Founder Brian Halligan and graciously accepted a Website Grader report for http://www.commerce.gov.  You'll be very interested to know that, from a marketing perspective, the Department of Commerce is doing right by their website, which earned an impressive score of 95.8 (check out the full diagnostic report here).
