If you started this new year with resolutions, you’re not alone. We entered 2018 at HubSpot with big aspirations and goals focused on one core value of ours: growth. The inbound movement isn’t slowing down and we’re on a mission to help customers, partners, employees and businesses globally grow...better.
Tens of thousands of organizations around the world use HubSpot today to attract and delight new customers online. But with online marketing and sales constantly evolving, from blogs to bots, we are constantly asking ourselves: How can we help customers grow not just today, but for years to come? One core piece of the solution is to build an all-star team here at HubSpot. That’s why we’re excited to share that in addition to kicking off the new year with strong aspirations, we’re also welcoming a strong line-up of leadership talent across the organization.
This January 2018, over 100 new employees will join HubSpot on our mission to help businesses grow better. From Sales to Engineering, and from Cambridge, MA to Sydney, Australia, these new hires all bring unique perspectives, backgrounds, and ideas to HubSpot this month. Please join us in welcoming aboard this new class of HubSpotters, and meet the key players who will join our leadership team in this January:
Michelle Benfer: VP, Sales
Before joining HubSpot, Michelle spent the past four years driving growth at LogMeIn where she was the VP Sales for the join.me product and LastPass product line. HubSpot Chief Sales Officer, Hunter Madeley, says he was “immediately impressed with [Michelle’s] passion for sales leadership and for product-driven go-to-market engines. Her passion for pulling together great sales leadership and her ideas on a modern sales process captured my attention and imagination.” Please join us in welcoming Michelle to the HubSpot Sales team!
Andrew Lindsay: VP, Corporate and Business Development
HubSpot’s Business Development and Corporate Development teams have an ambitious mission of keeping HubSpot and our software ahead of the curve. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited for Andrew to join us as VP of Business and Corporate Development, working alongside Brad Coffey, Chief Strategy Officer. Andrew spent the past six years in strategy positions at Jawbone, most recently as the VP of Corporate Development where he ran all of the company’s strategic growth opportunities including fundraising, acquisitions, and partnerships. Andrew will be based in San Francisco, CA but isn’t a stranger to Boston having graduated from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. Welcome, Andrew!
Lan Marinelli: Assistant General Counsel
Lan comes to HubSpot from athenahealth where she led the Corporate team and focused on corporate governance, the board of directors, and public company compliance matters. Previously, she helped to take ConforMIS, a medical device company, public in July 2015 and focused on corporate governance and M&A matters at Sapient. Lan began her career as an auditor at Deloitte and received her J.D. at Boston College Law School. She will join our global legal team this month; thanks to her skills and expertise, we’ll be able to do even more, faster, to grow the inbound community.
Susanne Rönnqvist: VP, International Marketing
Susanne joins HubSpot from Stockholm, Sweden as our new VP of International Marketing, working with marketing leaders globally to grow the inbound movement. Susanne has over 17 years of management experience including her most recent role as VP of Business Marketing at Klarna, and Director of Marketing at Projectplace previously. We’re thrilled to welcome Susanne and her great perspective, multilingual talent, and both direct and partner marketing savvy to our Marketing team.
Elizabeth Ruscitto: Director, Developer Relations
Elizabeth joins us from Leap Motion where she grew from Developer Relations Manager, to Senior Manager, to Director of Developer Relations & Platform Integrations in just a few years. In her most recent role, Elizabeth grew the organization’s developer community to over 800,000 active users by switching from desktop to virtual reality technologies, and managed all brand and marketing platforms growing the overall channels’ reach by 3x. As HubSpot becomes an increasingly product-driven company, building relationships with integration partners, deeply understanding how developers are using our APIs, and growing our engineering brand will be a critical piece of the puzzle. We couldn’t be more excited to have Elizabeth and her expertise on board!
Please join us in welcoming this remarkable group of leaders to HubSpot. We aspire to be an even better and bolder company in 2018 and are honored to have these key players on our team!
