HubSpot has helped us scale from being a startup day one all the way to today, where we are a unicorn with over 500 people. And we fully expect to use HubSpot as we continue to grow onwards in the future. I'm Aidan Corbett, I'm the co-founder and CEO of Wayflyer. Wayflyer provides e-commerce merchants with working capital so they can scale faster.
We take it very seriously, how well we treat the customers that we work with. We know that they're treating a lot of trust in us in terms of helping them with their business.
When we started off, we were missing certain communications that we were making. We were also not really tracking each lead through each step of the funnel, so it became pretty apparent early days that we needed a CRM that our customer success team can use, our sales reps can use and our marketing team can use, and that's why we use HubSpot. HubSpot integrates with a couple of our other platforms. Some of these integrations are native, which means HubSpot's already built the integration or our other platform has built the integration, and some we've built ourselves using APIs.
One of the biggest examples of that is the integration that we have with Slack, so we use Slack for pretty much everything. Internally, we have a HubSpot integration that provides a lot of information into Slack. Last year, we grew over 900% in terms of the amount of funding that we provided. And now we've got over 400 people, we've helped 1,500 businesses.
We've ended up funding over $800 million to e-commerce merchants to help them grow. We wouldn't have been able to do that without HubSpot while maintaining the same quality of service.
In terms of quantifying the ROI, we want to spend as much time as possible working directly with our customers, creating a better experience for them. And HubSpot allows us to do that because we're not spending time on manual tasks within our CRM or those types of communications.
The biggest challenge for Wayflyer over the next couple of years will be moving to a multi-product company, and also moving into new geographies. And we fully expect HubSpot to support us in both of those aims.
