It's a big day for HubSpot! Aside from our other awesome news, HubSpot co-founders, Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah released their new book (with foreword by David Meerman Scott). Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media and Blogs, in stores for the first time today, is a how-to guide to inbound marketing.
The book shows that inbound marketing-focused businesses have a 61% lower cost per lead than traditional outbound-focused businesses. Inbound Marketing will teach readers how to improve rankings in Google to get more traffic, build and promote a business blog, grow and nurture a community on social networks, measure the metrics that matter and do more of what works online.
To kick off the launch, HubSpot hosted a book party during last Friday's live episode of marketing video podcast HubSpot TV, featuring the authors and offering attendees a chance to ask questions about obtain free, signed copies of the book.
