HubSpot rated B for disclosure efforts in first year with CDP

HubSpot has furthered its commitment to environmental transparency by disclosing its environmental impact through CDP, a global nonprofit that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform.

This disclosure means HubSpot’s data will be added to the 2023 CDP scores, the most comprehensive inventory of self-reported environmental data in the world alongside more than 23,000 companies.

“By disclosing through CDP, HubSpot is furthering our purpose to build a company future generations will be proud of,” says Yogesh Chauhan, HubSpot’s Director of ESG. “On top of this, we’re now even more prepared to respond to the increasing demand for environmental transparency from financial institutions, customers, and policymakers.”

This is the first year HubSpot has disclosed through CDP, and we’re proud to receive a B rating. This score places HubSpot in the above average category for both our industry and region. Factors supporting this score include:

  • Our commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040 which has been validated by Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Read more about our carbon commitments here
  • Our year-over-year progress toward achieving this net-zero target.
  • The implementation of energy-saving initiatives in our facilities.
  • Practicing good governance of our climate risks and opportunities.

"As the global environmental disclosure system, CDP is dedicated to building the foundations for a thriving and sustainable economy and greatly appreciates the support of HubSpot in our efforts to continue driving transparency and corporate environmental action,” says Dexter Galvin, Chief Commercial and Partnerships Officer at CDP.

With an eye on the future, HubSpot remains committed to enhancing our sustainability efforts by cultivating transparency and establishing benchmarks for responsible corporate conduct.
