INBOUND is so close we can practically taste it! As HubSpot’s annual event draws nearer, we’re getting especially excited for a new addition to this year’s schedule -- the inaugural INBOUND Pitch Off.
Think “Shark Tank,” live from the INBOUND stage. Five of the nation's most promising businesses will join us at INBOUND, where they'll have the opportunity to pitch their business live in front of an all-star panel of judges which we’re excited to announce includes:
Neil Blumenthal, co-founder & CEO of Warby Parker
Larry Bohn, Managing Director of General Catalyst
Paul English, co-founder of Kayak & Lola
Katie Rae, Managing Director of Project 11
Powered by General Catalyst and hosted by HubSpot for Startups, the live semi-final and final rounds of the pitch off take place on Thursday, November 10th. After an initial round of voting earlier this summer, the five semi-finalists that taking part in the live pitch off are:
The panel of judges will evaluate these five semi-finalists in front of a live audience where three will be selected to move on to the final round of judging. Two of the three finalists will be selected by the judges while the third finalist will be an audience favorite, chosen by the INBOUND audience via Twitter votes.
But, there can only be one grand prize winner. The three finalists will present their best case for why their start-up is most deserving on the grand-prize package valued at more than $30,000 and the panel of judges will decide on an ultimate winner. The grand prize package includes:
One free year of HubSpot Enterprise software
Office hours with co-founders Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, as well as HubSpot Advisor and former CRO Mark Roberge.
Dinner with Larry Bohn, Managing Director of General Catalyst, and Juan Luis Leung Li, Senior Associate at General Catalyst

“We’re so excited to host our first ever pitch-off at INBOUND 2016. HubSpot loves the startup community and I think this is a great way to help showcase some of the brightest young ventures out there,” said Brian Halligan, HubSpot CEO and co-founder. “We couldn’t be prouder to be doing it in Boston and on the INBOUND stage.”
