We initially started using HubSpot while we were going through YCombinator. And one of the pieces of advice that they gave to us is to leverage tools to do the things that humans don't have to do. By leveraging HubSpot, we were able to use a tool to do the things that multiple people would've done without that tool. So we decided to leverage HubSpot while we were in YCombinator.
And we've been a happy user ever since. I am Ryan Neu and I'm the founder and CEO of Vendr. Vendr is a SaaS buying platform and we help the world's fastest growing companies buy software without friction. HubSpot was the first technology purchase we made at Vendr.
So literally from day one, we've been leveraging HubSpot's platform, specifically on the sales CRM side. And the marketing hub.
- HubSpot is our go-to-market tool. I think it's no longer just about the original inbound marketing play that it was founded on. It's so much deeper than that.
- We use HubSpot to track all of our active pipeline, forecast all of our future revenue, and ensure that we are working accounts properly. On the marketing side, we leverage HubSpot's marketing engine to drive more traffic to our site, convert more traffic into leads, and nurture leads into customers.
- HubSpot is really, huge crutch for us in our business. As we look at the entire go-to-market funnel, and strategy, and where we can optimize, where we can grow, what opportunities we have. I'm in the CMS day in, day out. I use the reporting and analytics functions weekly, if not daily.
I'm really all over the map, constantly discovering new aspects of the product that let me do my job more efficiently.
- One of the biggest value-ads for HubSpot is it's all connected. When the tools are connected, it allows us to scale much faster without worrying about how the tools are interacting with one another. Vendr has been scaling rapidly. And one of my personal goals was to outgrow or outscale our toolage. And unfortunately, we have no shot in doing that with HubSpot. The tool was built for scale and we're going to continue to be happy users well into the future.
