Ever wondered what it takes to grow a business? What about a movement, or even just an idea? That’s the theme of season three of The Growth Show, HubSpot’s podcast that features weekly interviews with some of the best minds in business. Season three guests include ClassPass founder Payal Kadakia, Joe De Sena of Spartan Race, Brandless CEO Tina Sharkey, Glossier SVP of Marketing Ali Weiss, and more.
“What I love most about this season is how we’re able to tell uncommon growth stories – narratives of people and companies that took a different route to building their businesses, one that was reliant on a uniquely strong relationship with customers,” said Meghan Keaney Anderson, host of The Growth Show and VP of marketing at HubSpot. “I hope this season gives our audience a different perspective on how they can accelerate their own growth. I am still thinking about many of these episodes and can’t wait to share them with our listeners.”
The first episode of the season features an interview with Dooley Tombras, president of The Tombras Group. Name not ringing a bell? That’s because they tend to work behind the scenes – they’re the advertising agency behind such well-known brands as MoonPie and Orangetheory Fitness. Check out the episode to learn the secret behind MoonPie's record-breaking social account, what companies get wrong about their social strategies, and how you can use social as a way to grow better.
In addition to weekly episodes, this season will also feature short-form segments covering tech news and original featured stories. The first of these delves into the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) influencers and why brands have started to collaborate with these personalities.
Since its launch in 2015, The Growth Show has gotten over 1.5 million downloads and has been recognized as a top business podcast by sites like Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc., and HuffPo. Past guests include Alec Baldwin, Facebook VP of Product Design Julie Zhuo, Buzzfeed founder Jonah Peretti, and Top Chef winner Kristen Kish.
