Respond.io is an AI-powered customer conversation platform that basically helps businesses centralize the customer chats and calls over modern channels, like, for example, WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, etc. We were trying to combine our marketing and sales operations, because we were outgrowing basic tools out there. We were managing leads and customer communications through a ton of spreadsheets and simple web forms, and there was no central location to store that information.

The HubSpot for Starters program has played a big role for us in our early growth, because it let us put a world-class CRM and marketing system in place much earlier than we otherwise would have.

As customers' adoption grew rapidly, we started to see limitations in how the platform handled increasing usage. AWS provides a unified and reliable foundation that allows us to innovate faster with confidence, streamline our operations, and deliver low latency performance for our customers, which is an essential requirement for mission-critical customer conversations at scale. So far, the results are great with AWS. We are now operating at multibillion request scale annually and processing billions of customer messages per year, and we maintain 99.99% of time.
