Inbound Marketing Continues Global Growth with HubSpot in Dublin

Cambridge, MA and Dublin, Ireland: HubSpot, Inc. officially launched their European headquarters today, expanding upon the company’s global inbound marketing presence and providing increased levels of service and support to customers around the world. HubSpot is an industry leader in inbound marketing software with strong international presence already: more than 710 of their 8,600 customers are outside the United States and Canada, representing 56 countries.

New Public API for HubSpot Social Media Available

HubSpot has released a new API for Social Media Publishing. This API allows programmatic scheduling of new social messages to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or any social media accounts that have been configured within HubSpot. New: Customize Your Opt-Out Page in HubSpot

The communication preferences page is where email recipients land when they click "unsubscribe" or "update communication preferences" in any email sent through HubSpot.  In addition to a standard opt-out, this page gives readers the option to narrow down the types of emails they get from a company rather than opting-out completely. HubSpot announced today that users can now customize the way their communication preferences page looks, adding images, text, surveys or other elements to make the most of that interaction.

Use your Custom Short URL with HubSpot Social Media

A couple of years ago Bit.ly started offering the ability to customize the way shortened URLs look. These custom short urls enabled social media users to limit the length of their links without losing the brand identity of their company.  For example, shortened Youtube links now appear as Youtu.be and shortened New York Times links appear as nyti.ms. HubSpot's cofounder Dharmesh Shah even uses the custom short domain dharme.sh to share links on Social Media.

HubSpot Social Media Tool Now Posts to Linkedin Groups

Coming this week, HubSpot users will have the ability to post directly to LinkedIn Groups using the HubSpot Social Media tool.  A highly requested feature from customers, posting to LinkedIn Groups will allow users to schedule posts to any number of groups, track engagement activity, and see which contacts clicked on the content that was shared. This new feature matches the same functionality HubSpot users currently enjoy with Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn Personal Account Pages.
