Accreditations Standards

Accreditations are the most robust way that HubSpot credentials our partners on specific areas of expertise, and because of that it is critical that accredited partners deliver successful outcomes for their customers.

To further improve our Accreditations program we plan to introduce a set of customer success standards across all of our Accreditations in 2024. These standards are planned to be announced in Q1 2024 and be required for all partners to renew their accreditations.

What are Universal Partner Standards?

Universal standards will govern the overall rules for maintaining any accreditation. Solutions partners must stay at or above the universal benchmark requirements at all times to maintain an accreditation. Falling below the universal standards benchmarks can result in a revocation of accreditations. Solutions partners should expect to be evaluated every six months from the issue date of their accreditation to ensure they continue to meet these universal benchmarks. Universal standards include Tier and Certifications.

Universal Standards

Tier
Partners must be platinum, diamond or elite to apply for and retain an accreditation. Tier qualifications for accreditations are reviewed in January and June. Solutions partners who fall below the platinum tier may be provided a grace period to remediate. In the event they are unable to tier back up to Platinum, they will no longer be eligible for accreditations.

Certifications
Partners must adhere to the certification prerequisites to retain accreditation. Depending on the individual accreditation, each may require additional certifications.

Accreditation-Specific Standards

What are accreditation-specific standards?
In 2024 we plan to release standards that are specific for each accreditation. These standards will be metrics that show customer success related to the specific accreditation. We will educate all partners on these metrics and make them available to you well before we make them a requirement for earning, retaining, and renewing an accreditation.

If maintained in line with accreditation-specific standards, Accreditations are valid for two years from their original issue date. After two years, HubSpot will review the requirements of the accreditation against the solutions partner’s current tier, certifications, and services. If the partner still meets the requirements, their accreditation will be renewed for another two years.

To maintain a high level of rigor and validity in the market throughout the Accreditation process, HubSpot intends to review a solutions partner’s Accreditation status twice a year simultaneously to our two down tiering windows in January and July. A solutions partner must stay at a tier of platinum or higher, meet prerequisites and active services to maintain their Accreditation.

  • Starting January 15, 2024, accreditation-specific standards for tier level will become part of the process for maintaining and renewing your accreditation.  This means if you downtier to Gold or untiered level during the January 15th re-leveling process, you will have to tier back up to Platinum in order to maintain your Accreditation(s).
  • We plan to announce the Accreditation-Specific Standards in the near future, with the aim to provide Partners a period for adjustment to the new standards.
