What is Co-marketing with HubSpot for Startups?

The HubSpot for Startups team offers valuable educational content, tools, resources, and discounts to startups, accelerators, VCs, and incubators. We have found that there are some awesome experts out there who are also creating valuable content for this same audience, and we want to partner with them!

Through co-marketing, not only do we create educational and useful content for our audience, we also share the benefit and responsibilities that go along with creating, launching, promoting, and analyzing a marketing campaign. 

All co-marketing campaigns must follow HubSpot content requirements, including quality, logistics and campaign guidelines. Co-marketing projects cannot be previously created, or of low value to our audience. 

A co-marketing project can vary in medium, based on the goals and resources of each team. All campaigns are mutually beneficial to both parties. There are no requirements to be a HubSpot customer or partner to work with us on a co-marketing campaign. 

HubSpot creates a variety of offers from ebook and webinars, to tools and templates. Our main goal is to create educational content to help startups grow and scale better. Before agreeing to take on a co-marketing project, we require the following:

  • Content follows HubSpot style guidelines and fits with the HubSpot for Startups voice.
  • Alignment among target audiences, goals, and company expertise exist between HubSpot and co-marketing partner.
  • Partner brings expertise not already present in the HubSpot content library.
  • Partner works with the HubSpot for Startups team to co-create and co-brand content.
  • Content created is hosted on a HubSpot landing page, with a pre-determined goal by HubSpot and partner.
  • Partners promote the co-created piece of content or event to generate equal volume of downloads or registrants.
  • Minimum download requirement is 500 downloads from each partner in first 30 days post-launch (Excluding live events).
