Get Started with Prospecting Agent

Set up your first Prospecting Agent Play in minutes. Here’s how.

Step 1 - Create a Play

Navigate to Prospecting Agent, then Plays, and click "Create Play." Each Play defines which companies to target, which contacts to find, and how to reach them. Create separate plays for different account tiers, geographies, or products.

Step 2 - Choose Your Audience

In the Audience tab, select the CRM segment representing the accounts you want to prospect. Then define your target personas, the job titles and roles you want the agent to find at each company. The agent uses fuzzy matching, so you don't need exact titles. Finally, choose the buying signals you want the agent to monitor, such as funding rounds, leadership changes, job postings, visitor intent, and research intent.

Step 3 - Add Context and Configure Outreach

Add your company's URL, so the agent can pull your value proposition, products, and pain points automatically. Then choose your outreach type: scheduled sequences use AI-powered smart blocks and follow a defined send cadence; adaptive mode adjusts timing and content based on live signals.

Step 4 - Set Your Guardrails

Choose your review preference: require rep approval before anything sends, or enable auto-send once you trust the output. Set a daily contact recommendation limit to control pacing and credit usage. Each lead recommended for outreach costs 100 credits, covering research, outreach, and follow-up for the length of the sequence.

Step 5 - Publish Your Play

Publish the Play and the agent starts monitoring your target companies immediately. When a signal shows that a company is ready to buy, recommended contacts appear. Reps review the agent's research and drafted outreach, then approve before anything sends. You can also enroll contacts and companies directly from the CRM, or use workflows to automate enrollment at scale.

Turn it on. Watch it work.

Once your Play is published, Prospecting Agent starts monitoring your target companies immediately. When a signal fires, it researches the account, identifies the right contacts, and drafts personalized outreach for rep review. Each email references something real about that company, pulled from your CRM data and buying signals, not a generic template.

What to expect:

  • Recommended companies and contacts surface when signals fire

  • Response rates on par with human SDR performance

  • Reps spend less time researching and more time closing

This is the difference between cold outreach that gets deleted and warm conversations that book meetings.
