From insights to action

Insight is great. But insight can only do so much on its own. It needs a partner.

And the preferred partner of insight? Action.

This is what The Fullstack Agency does. Based in Long Beach, California, they take their clients - over 40 of them spread across the US and internationally - from insight to action.

“We train, mentor and support businesses of all shapes and sizes,” says agency founder and CMO, Amara Omoregie. “We help companies better understand their data and pivot, adjust and understand - so they can repeat successes and do more with less."

Wanted: innovative solutions for innovative clients

And according to Amara, HubSpot plays a central role in helping her clients.

“The software is a must have,” says Amara. “We’re all in on recommending HubSpot to clients. It really is the best choice for most of them. HubSpot keeps innovating and filling in gaps that we didn’t know we had."

Innovation. It’s a word that is synonymous with many of the Fullstack Agency’s clients. Innovation could be doctors and orthopedic surgeons doing regenerative medicine. It might be a Neuro-Optometrist helping patients with concussion treatments. Or even Mycosonic technology for CBD and functional mushrooms.

“A lot of our clients are innovators in their space,” explains Amara. “Where we really shine is where our clients’ customers are problem unaware or solution unaware. We help companies in the early adopter phase: where people aren’t even searching for the solution that our clients offer because they don’t know it exists.”

So, when you’re an innovative business, you need innovative technology that helps customers find new solutions to their problems.

HubSpot’s Meta integration steps up

HubSpot’s Meta integration helps in the hunt for those solutions.

It allows you to manage your Facebook campaigns - revealing how well your marketing is performing, how people are engaging with your content, and ultimately giving a truer portrait of your customer.

Ah, yes. The customer. The center of the marketing universe.

“Understanding people is the crux of marketing,” says Amara. “My mom’s a chemist and my Dad’s a computer scientist, so my approach towards everything in marketing is scientific. I really study. I really discern. This gets rid of the noise and hype. Understanding influence, what people want, identifying pain points … everything I do is in service to that”.

And Facebook Conversions API (CAPI) helps serve your customers better. You connect your Facebook ad account to HubSpot then use an existing Facebook pixel to enable CAPI. This data gives a truer picture of how your customers behave.

“The most underrated part of HubSpot and the CAPI integration is that you can see down to the ad creative what someone clicked on in their timeline,” says Amara. “You get the whole picture, so you can really reverse engineer who came to your website and from what ad. If they watched all of your videos, or some of them. You can really get more granular instead of just seeing the numbers. It really closes the gaps.”

CAPI helps personalize the customer journey

CAPI allows you to follow the customer journey and tailor your approach. It captures data server side, not from your customer’s browser, and helps pick up the pieces from the loss of third-party cookies (3PC).

“With Facebook ads, you set up your tracking pixel that picks up third party info,” highlights Amara. “Third party cookies are being deprecated and CAPI is really stepping up.”

Which really helps with segmentation and the all-important customer journey.

“You can really create a personalized customer experience rather than a spray and pray method with your ads,” says Amara. “You can meet customers where they’re at in the customer journey.”

So, for those mourning the loss of 3PC, does CAPI compensate?

“Oh, absolutely,” says Amara. “If you don’t have it you’re really missing out. People don’t set it up because they’re afraid of it. And it’s so essential.”

Right message. Right people. Right time.

But it’s not just essential. With HubSpot, it’s effortless.

“Set up is so easy,” says Amara. “Literally five minutes, a few clicks, and you’re ready to go.”

HubSpot and Meta have made it so you don’t even feel like you’re setting up the Conversions API, Amara explains. “You simply connect your various segments to Facebook and HubSpot sends that data to Facebook in real time. As your prospects progress through their journey, your ads are personalized to their experience, and your campaign is better optimized to move people to convert quicker.”

Meaning, says Amara, “You’re able to get the right message, to the right people, at the right time.”

“You can push CRM data into Facebook. Your MQL, your SQL, your opportunities, people saying: ‘Yes, I’m interested.’ Or: ‘I’m still on the fence. Tell me more.’ You can create ads for those different segments. And the CRM is sending that data in real time. With other systems you’re still having to upload that data manually or in most cases, not at all.”

All of this means that when Amara steps into companies to help with their marketing efforts and implement tools like CAPI, she’ll typically see an increase in ad efficiency of 30-40%.

Empowerment: more than just a word

Amara believes in the importance of empowering her clients. This is especially true when it comes to adopting HubSpot and their integrations.

“We’ll push buttons for you,” she says, “but it’s affecting adoption when we do that. I’m trying to empower marketing teams to better understand HubSpot and better understand their tools. It gives them more responsibility for the tools they’re using.”

And you get the sense that Amara felt empowered by HubSpot. She began in sales in 2004, and went on to start her own marketing business a few  years later. Yet marketing programming in college didn’t appeal.

“What they taught - it was like they were 10 years behind. So I was using my instincts and soaking up lots of information on SEO and social media analytics based on what I was applying in the wild. When I came across HubSpot’s content it really allowed me to understand data, the customer journey, inbound methodology … I attended every single webinar, and read every blog. HubSpot was so generous with their education when spreading the Inbound gospel.”

And she’s keen to pass on her knowledge and education to others. One way of doing that is through The Spot

Emerging from the Black@INBOUND platform, The Spot is HubSpot’s professional community for the Global Majority. A place to connect, network, and explore professional opportunities.

Contributing to communities

“The Spot is a platform for professional development, mentoring and empowerment,” says Amara. “But it’s also a place of belonging and discovery. There are lots of networks about business - not many are about learning. The Spot fills that space.”

Amara is also a big believer in Meta Elevate. Through free marketing education, mentorship and support, the community and learning platform aims to increase economic success for Black and Latinx people. A place, says Elevate, to “celebrate creators who break barriers and turn dreams into realities.”

“For experts like myself - someone who was self-taught and didn’t have a lot of mentorship - we like to give back. To contribute to the community alongside what Meta Elevate provides. To offer support to people who are looking to expand their knowledge and expertise.”

Because it’s not always easy out there.

“You can feel lost and intimidated,” admits Amara. “I know I still do. But these empowering spaces with like-minded people really help with that.”

And that - helping - is what Amara and her agency are doing. Helping others and helping build a better tomorrow. For Fullstack. For their clients. And for communities.

Helping build a better tomorrow

Put all of that together and it adds up to a whole lot of good.

But that’s just what Amara and The Fullstack Agency does: good. Whether that’s empowering communities or empowering the agency’s clients to use HubSpot’s tools. Or being on hand to show others how to better understand their audience, then adjusting their marketing tactics accordingly. Or, indeed, using integrations like Meta’s CAPI to get the whole picture - using data to really see the customer and then personalize their journey.

“I feel like I’ve really accomplished something when I get clients to better serve their customers and make data-driven decisions,” concludes Amara. “That’s where we shine.”

With the HubSpot and Meta integration you get the whole picture. It closes the gaps. Meaning you’re able to get the right message, to the right people, at the right time.
