Chris McLellan

As Chief Security Officer, Chris is responsible for collaborating with teams across the company to develop the vision and execute on the security and technology risk management to best protect our customers, partners and the business. Chris also serves as the co-executive sponsor of the ParentsSpot employee resource group.

Prior to joining HubSpot Chris was Vice President Risk and Compliance, Enterprise Technology Services at State Street Corporation. He also founded and served as board member of Co3 Systems (now IBM Resilient) where he designed and developed SAAS incident response/breach management solution. He co-founded Interop’s Management Solutions backed by Fidelity Ventures. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for Fidelity Investments, Technology Risk Management and prior to that as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure Services.

Chris serves on the board of directors and is the technology chair for ELM Resources, he also serves as advisor for Glasswing Ventures and is on the advisory board for IBM Resilient. Chris spends much of his time in Wells, Maine where he enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters and is an active food and wine enthusiast.
